Hadrian's Wall

Headed back from Scotland to York via Hadrian's Wall.

London

After leaving from Connisborough at lunch we had to head back to York to get our 5.45pm train connection to London the trains here are wierd and even though we would be on a train coming back through Connisborough we could not get on it at this stop but had to get on at the spot where we had booked the ticket from...so back in York with time to waste in an internet cafe until our train to London

Mexborough and Surrounds

Our memories are failing now but we spent about a week in Mexborough and around the area with family. The 10th was the World Cup so we were around about then.At some point after the 10th we made our way back to York before heading to Manchester.

Heading Back To The North

We left Portsmouth in the morning changed from the Megabus in London to National Express and headed back to Doncaster...the bit after leaving Portsmouth at this stage is a pretty reliable guess...but we've forgotten the details.We did break down on the way back North and spent a bit of time sitting beside the bus on the side of the road

Thought I'd set this up to give me something to do if the trip gets boring plus give you lot something to laugh at should things not go as expected. Hopefully I'll update it often enough to keep you interested without going overboard.
