The city of Burgas is the fourth largest in the country of Bulgaria. Burgas is also the fourth largest port within the Black Sea. Burgas is a very lively but compact city. This city features pedestrianised boulevards and there is also a number of outdoor cafes, which give a distinct Mediterranean feeling. This city is a superb location to use as a base for exploring the other resorts that are nearby. There are a lot of spectacular lakes nearby which are good for bird watching. This is an easy city for people to get too from all across the world, as there are regular flights to Burgas.

The city of Burgas offers a long luxurious beach and the Marine Park runs along the side of the beach. This park is a very popular area for people that want to enjoy a luxurious seaside walk. The main tourist season within this city is from Early June until later September. During the peak holiday season most of the hotels will be fully booked. This city is not well known for being a beach resort however it is a popular seaside resort that has a vast amount to offer in terms of entertainment and attractions.

The beach within the city is perhaps not the most attractive but it is long and covered in sand. The well laid out Sea Gardens is located next to the beach and this is a pleasant attraction that is worth visiting. The beach is a good place for people that want to relax and enjoy the sun or people that would like to go for a swim. There is often strong winds within this area which make the beach perfect for windsurfing however there is only a couple of places where equipment can be hired from. It is also possible to enjoy kite surfing on the beach however this is best done on the northern part of the beach, as it tend to be quieter.
