One of the most popular tourist attractions on the island of Corfu is Mouse Island. Mouse Island is actually a tiny island that is tucked away in the southern part of Corfu. The island is right in front of the airport and there are regular flights to Corfu, which use this airport. The island is also in front of the Halkiopulos lagoon. Mouse Island is covered with lush Mediterranean vegetation, which is a rich green colour. Mouse Island is well known for the ancient church and monastery of Pantokrator that dates back to the eleventh century.
