It’s time to rock big time in the Mediterranean. Pioneering Liverpool band Anathema hit the Greek mainland and islands this month, bringing their unique sound and spectacular stage show to the sunny shores of Greece. Touring on the back of their phenomenally successful album Falling Deeper, the band is set to play three dates in October. On the 7th they play the Fuzz Club in Athens, and then move on to the Principal Club in Thessaloniki on the 8th and Heraklion TEI
Gymnasium on the island of Crete on the 9th.
Greece is becoming increasingly popular with internationally acclaimed bands and groups. With flights to Crete and other destinations across the country now easily available from most UK airports, music fans can combine a holiday with the gig of a lifetime in some of the most dramatic backdrops in the world. See stars under the stars at open-air concerts across the country, and thanks to the current exchange rate, tickets and flights to Thessaloniki and other locations are now better value than ever.
One word of caution though – beware of ticket touts. To make sure you get the most from your holiday, make sure that you buy your concert tickets from reputable dealers before you travel.
With sunshine almost all year round, a fabulous culture, great food and some amazing entertainment, Greek holidays at any time of the year are a great opportunity for some well-earned rest and relaxation. Combine that with an amazing music concert and you’ve got the perfect mix for a holiday to remember.
