The Spanish island of Mallorca is home to some of the most luxurious beaches that are within the Mediterranean. When you are on holiday on this island it is certainly worth taking the time to experience all that the beaches that are on offer. All of the beaches on this island are child friendly and some of them are good for water sports such as paragliding and jet skiing. All of the beaches are home to a range of bars and restaurants. There are a lot of tourists that enjoy the cheap flights to Mallorca and then they enjoy the luxurious beaches and sun.

This island has a large selection of spectacular beaches and this ranges from quite coves where there may be just a few people to beaches that are highly populated. The highly populated beaches tend to be close the main tourist resorts. The popular tourist resorts that are known as El Arenal and Can Pastilla are only a short distance from the main airport.

To the west of Palma is the resorts of Cala Mayor, Illetes, Palma Nova, Magaluf and also Santa Ponca to name a few of the resorts. The resort of Cala Mayor is home to a small beach that is golden in color and from this beach it is possible to see Marivent Palace. The nearby resort of San Agustin is also small in size and it has a very pleasant sandy beach.

The resort of Illetes is home to two coves that are covered in pine tress which run as far as the shore. The resort of Portals Nous is home to a small beach, which is located between holiday developments.

The very popular resorts of Magaluf and Palma Nova are both home to some very spectacular beaches and these are very sandy. These areas tend to be very popular with tourists that come to the area.
