Bodrum will prove to be a good change from your hectic schedules and monotonous routines. Bodrum has a plethora of attractive activities lined up for visitors. You can catch flights to Bodrum from many European countries. One of the main attractions of Bodrum is its lively festivals held almost every month. One of the famous festivals is Bodrum Jazz Days that span almost the entire month of December from 9th to 27th.

This year promises several popular musicians, internationally acclaimed jazz performers and young lively performing talents from a number of neighboring countries who will come together to set the stage on fire. During these Jazz Days you can expect to listen to around 32 performers. You will have to reserve your seats for witnessing this grand event. The primary sponsor for the event is usually Akbank supported by the Neyzen Tours, Bodrum Municipality, Hotel Diamond and Era Outdoor.

The event begins on 9th December which will start with the vocals and bass by Levent Yuksel and Ant Simsek on electric guitar while Volkan Oktem on drums. The performance is categorized under the genre of Pop Rock. Further on 13th December it will be Jonathan Cairney and Paul Cirby Trio. Jonathan Cairney is an award winning Scottish musician who had won the Perrier Young Jazz Singers Awards in 1998. He is taking part in the Bodrum Jazz Days and will be accompanied by a few talented young jazz musicians. His award of 1998 brought him on the international arena of Jazz music.

Beth Trollan is also a part of the fest. Beth Trollan is a song writer and a singer born and brought up in New York. The audience is almost always enchanted by the simplicity with which she sings and the plainness in her voice that quickly mixes the jazz and the blues. The performance will be of some of her original compositions with acoustic and jazz guitar. The band will have Beth Trollan for acoustic guitar and vocals, Evrim Ozsuca with back vocal, Tolga Bedir on the keyboard, Caner Kaptan for Contrabass, Eren Gumrukcuoglu for Guitar and Alp Ertung on the Drums.

Further on 16th December Kerem Gorsev Trio will perform. Other performances will have Aralik Carsamba with Rock n Roll, Boogie People and Collective with their rich instrumental improvisations. The Bodrum Jazz Days is organized by a Night Club in Bodrum with the name of Hadigari.
