The sophisticated, cosmopolitan bar and club scene of Gran Canaria's principal city defies, and exceeds, most holiday makers expectations. It is easy to avoid sticky floored mega-clubs, lad filled boozers and extortionate, poolside cocktail bars in Las Palmas.
