Dance Music Festival in Tenerife
A fantastic dance music festival has lead to an impressive increase in sales of flights to Tenerife during August. Prepare yourself for Innovation, Summer in the Sun 2010 – The Tenerife Reunion!
The Innovation Summer in the Sun dance music festival will take place on 7th August this year. This popular music event has been held each year since 2006, initially in a night club but growing in size each year. This year the event takes place at MagMa, Costa Adeje.
The dance zones will feature various music styles, including Drum & Bass, Breakbeat (Old-skool and Hardcore), House and Electro.
This year’s headliner is Andy C (aka The Executioner), the English artist consistently voted best Drum & Bass DJ, as well as Dynamite MC. Also featuring are Shut Up and Dance (live), Phantasy, Kultur, Phuture Assassins and Melo & Cuto.
Tickets are available from various music stores on Tenerife as well as other locations on other islands in the Canaries. Tickets cost 25 Euros in advance or 30 Euros on the day.
This summer there have been several interesting concerts in the Canaries. During July legenary band The Beach Boys gave a small but delighted audience a World Cup semi-final gig at the Santiago Martin Stadium outside La Laguna. Mick Hucknall and his band Simply Red also performed to an audience of 10,000 at Golf Costa Adeje, Tenerife as part of their Farewell Tour, with the audience often taking over to sing verses from their favourite songs.
