Femes is a small village that is located within Lanzarote and this village is home to Balcon de Femes. The name of this village has been derived from the panoramic views that go down towards the southern part of Lanzarote. This village is part of the resort that is known as Playa Blanca. There is a lot of tourists that make the most of the regular flights to Lanzarote in order to experience what this resort has on offer.

The village that is known as Femes is a quite village that is tucked away. This village has really come about due to the steep road that climbs from the coast up to the highland. This village is able to retain a good amount of unspoilt charm and character.

There are a couple of very good restaurants located within the village of Femes and these tend to be very popular with both tourists and locals alike. Both of these restaurants are in very good locations and they enjoy some of the best views therefore offering the perfect place to relax and unwind whilst enjoying a drink or a bite to eat.

The village of Femes is located close to the resort of Casa Emiliano and this is a very popular resort for tourists. This area is home to some spectacular gardens and they make the ideal location to enjoy a spot of lunch on a nice warm day.

There is a house located just to the right as you enter the village of Femes. This house dates back about three hundred years and this was once an outpost for the Jesuit church. This property was converted into a house using a lot of care and attention. When the building was constructed and whilst retaining a lot of the original features and there was some additions made which are Manrique style and this includes volcanic rocks and thick white walls. There are volcanic rocks that intrude into the bathroom and the courtyard has stone planters and thick walls that are whitewashed.
