There are now only four days to go till the sixth International Short Film Festival of Cyprus. The event takes place in the beautiful coastal city of Limassol, hometown of Michalis Kakoyiannis, a well loved Cypriot Director and the man who originally inspired the event. More than 60 films, 18 of them national entries, are to be judged over this week-long competition where the deserving winners stand to receive prizes worth more than 20,000 Euros.

Ribat is actually an Arabic term that is used to refer to a small fortification that was built during the early years of the Muslim conquest on North Africa. These small fortifications where used to house the military volunteers.
