When the big nightclubs on Ibiza are approaching the end of their long season the island is gearing up for a ten day Jetski festival that will attract riders from all over Europe.

This annual event organised by Xtreme Action Events, a company who also organise jetski demonstrations and exhibition riding. This year's festival is based on the beach at San Antonio Bay and offers jetski owners the chance to have their jetskis transported by road from the UK for use during the festival. The truck transporting the craft is already underway on its five day journey to the island. Once there, the jetskis can be used daily during the festival before being loaded back up for the journey home. This presents a perfect way for jetskiers to use their own craft while away on holiday.

The Jetbou Festival itself is made up of organised voyages to locations around the island, plus a number of competitive challenges. As well as the competitions for the Freestyle and Slalom Cups, there will be a number of other social activities for everyone involved. Over the years the event has built up a loyal group of followers and the ten day festival is a great place for them to meet up with old friends and explore the waters around this beautiful island.

Last year almost 70 jetskis were transported to Ibiza for the festival that has been taking place on the island since 2004. The use of jetskis or personal water craft (PWCs) is quite controlled on Ibiza and skiers will need to comply with local regulations in order to take their craft on the water.
