A Mallorcan family who purchased some arid land during 1973 and then discovered that the land had its own water supply that was priceless built this park. This family felt this was the perfect place to build some tropical gardens and the park also contains a number of different animals. This tropical park was first opened to the general public during 1995. It took the family almost twenty two years to transform the arid land into the wonderful park that it is nowadays. The land that the park is on went from being dry Majorcan ground to being lush tropical ground, which is what visitors are able to enjoy nowadays. When visitors are walking through this park they can enjoy rare plants, bamboo groves and trees and there is also a large number of exotic birds in the park which are free flying. These gardens are open all year round although they are only open for reduced hours during the winter months. This park is very popular with tourists and locals during both the summer months and the winter months.
