A wonderful way to indulge in fun is by trying out short cruises towards the adjacent beaches using the water taxis. The whole of Kanapitsa neighborhood comprises of several well laid out walking trails which crisscross Kalamaki.

For people who like to enjoy some adventure, there is a great Water Sports School which provides a great variety of amazing water sports including jet skiing, wind surfing, water skiing and scuba diving. As a matter of fact, there are not many beaches which can compete with this one in terms of the laidback atmosphere of the Kanapitsa beach. The water is too good for swimming. From the beach there are some awesome destinations to go for excursions. Among them Tsoungria and Skopelos are worth a mention as they are known for their natural beauty.
