There is not a lot of choice when it comes to the traditional open-air food markets around the mainland area of Spain. The island of Lanzarote is proud to host a massive market that is held every Sunday and this takes place within the town of Teguise, which was once the capital of the island. This massive market is very popular with both tourists and locals and there are thousands of people coming from all across the island in order to enjoy the market.
