After a string of big cultural events during early January, Mallorca switched to music for the remainder of the month with a varied mix of concerts in Palma and other towns across the island.
The Epiphany celebrations and, more recently, the big San Sebastian festival brought thousands of people onto the streets of Palma for a huge public barbeque, the final firework display was held on Sunday 24th January. For many islanders that marks the start of a quiet period until the pre-Easter events kick off, but for fans of live music there were plenty of choices to enjoy.
