Medano Beach in Tenerife
There are a lot of people that enjoy cheap regular flights to Tenerife in the hope of relaxing in the sun on a luxurious sandy beach. One of the most popular beaches within Tenerife is Medano Beach and this has a vast stretch of golden sand and on the horizon across the beach are the mountains, which shimmer in the heat of the sun. This beach is also able to offer crystal clear blue waters and it looks like a dozen shades of blue during the summer sunshine.
Medano beach is located on the southeastern coast of Tenerife and it is only a few kilometres from the airport. This beach is very popular with surfers and therefore the whole area tends to have a friendly and laid back atmosphere. This area is not a typical tourist area as there is no cabaret acts, tourist shops or designer shops. This area is really just filled with sun, beach and surfing. There are a number of bars and restaurants within this area and these are also very laid back.
The pavement that runs alongside the beach is home to a vast array of cafes, which serve ice creams and cold beers. These facilities are used a lot by the suntanned people who are soaking up the rays on the beach and also people that are watching the wind surfers and kite boarders. The warmth from the sun will lead to people breathing deeper as the sun will be on their face and this helps to loosen the muscles within the shoulders which will assist the well being of the person.
This resort is a lot quieter than its neighbouring resorts, which are Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas. All of these resorts are able to enjoy a vast amount of sunshine and very little rain. There is really three things that this beach and surrounding area are well known for and these are regular winds which sweep across the resort and attracts the surfers, the endless amount of luxurious golden sand and the third thing is that part of the beach is secluded and used as a nudist beach.
