These canons were installed to be used during the war that took place between the United States of America and Spain. This area was first built during 1973 and it was built at a height of four hundred and seventy nine meters above the level of the sea.
This attraction is a lot more than just an excavation within the cliff and it can be classed as a building that has two buried domes that are enormous. Cesar Manrique who was an artist designed this attraction and he worked in conjunction with Eduardo Caceres who is an architect.
This attraction allows tourists to relax and enjoy views over the beach, which is located at Risco. Walking along a cliff path or using a boat will enable people to reach this beach. In order to reach the cliff top it will require a steep climb therefore this attraction is mainly suited for a full day activity.
