The Mosta Dome is a catholic church that has been on a site that was once occupied by another church. The current church building was built during the nineteenth century. A Maltese architect designed this church. This church dome is the third biggest unsupported dome in the entire world. The design plans for this church were based on the Pantheon, which is in Rome. Construction on this church started during May 1833 and it was completed during the 1860s.
