New promotional video from Tenerife

The Tenerife Tourist Board has just released a stunning new promotional video for the island that features time-lapse photography to great effect. The video, which is one of a series covering the Canaries, showcases many of the economic, traditional and natural features of the island. Initially focusing on the bustling urban areas the video moves to the countryside in the second half and illustrates the amazing natural beauty of the island.
The film portrays the island of Tenerife as a modern, young, thriving community with a healthy share of culture, design, tradition and attractions for tourists. Several of the island's festivals are presented including the famous Carnival, music events and flower festivals as well as modern architecture and of course the island's centrepiece, the towering volcanic Mount Teide. Beautiful sunsets, moonlit evenings and dawn sequences complete the video which can be seen on the islands YouTube channel along with other videos produced by the same group.
Other films in the series focus more on the aspects of the island appreciated by tourists including the beaches, opportunities for sailing, quality accommodation and cuisine, sophisticated nightlife and stunning natural scenery. Tourists from the UK and Germany make up the majority of visitors to Tenerife and the videos have been produced to appeal particularly to those audiences.
