Palma de Mallorca - Balearics - Part 1

An intoxicating coastline of white sandy beaches plus top restaurants and clubs, Palma is a mecca for the traveller who appreciates the very best of everything. The capital of the Balearic Islands, Palma is upmarket, eternally chic, and perfectly suited for walking as it's compact and navigable for pedestrians.
Couples Love Palma and Families Do, Too:
Although romantic Palma is an exquisite break for couples, it's also an outstanding destination for family holidays. Lots of sandy beaches with shallow waters make it well-suited for swimming and playing in the warm sea. There are plenty of resort hotels to keep the young ones active and busy, with children's pools, pony rides and kid's clubs all on offer. In Platja de Palma you'll find one of Europe's largest water parks with water slides wave pool, a mini-zoo, children's farm, parrot shows and an antique typewriter museum. In nearby Binissalem there's a local water park with an adventure playground, swimming pool, water rides, crazy golf and a waxworks museum.
Main tourist beaches offer a range of activities such as volleyball, windsurfing, water and jet skiing.
