Palma is the capital of Mallorca and is a fantastic place to visit, whether you are sightseeing, shopping or just taking in the sun and chilling out in one of the many bars and cafes.

The Jazz Voyeur Festival is now into its seventh edition and the 2010 list of artistes is looking as impressive as some of the past celebrities that have performed at this great festival. Recent years have seen stars such as George Benson, Gloria Gaynor ('I Will Survive'), Diana Krall and Herbie Hancock. This year's line up includes Grammy award nominee Christian Scott, Tom Harrell and the Spirit of New Orleans. Berlin. Ute Lemper, leading artist of Berlin's cabaret tradition, opened this year's edition on July 3rd at the Teatre Principal de Palma with her show "Last Tango in Berlin". The festival will last until December 20th.

Held in a variety of venues including the Teatre Principal, the Jazz Voyeur Club and the Conservatori de Palma there is a great choice for everyone. There are also jazz based films at the cinema and many restaurants take on a jazz atmosphere during the festival.

The Jazz Voyeur night club is a great place to party any time of the year and always has talented musicians playing there. There are daily concerts starting at 10pm and they even have their own radio station that you can also listen to on line.
