Parque Las Aguilas is commonly referred to the jungle park. This jungle park is very popular with tourists and a lot of these tourists make the most of the flights to Tenerife. This park is home to a beautiful botanical garden and zoological park and it covers seventy five thousand square meters of jungle style ground. This park is home to over five hundred different animals and there is an array of suspension bridges, walking paths with tunnels, caves, lagoons and waterfalls. The park also offers visitors that chance to enjoy exotic birds, which includes birds of prey.

This jungle park is located amongst the hills above the Tenerife area of Los Cristianos. It is very easy to get to this park and there is a free bus service, which operates from all of the main tourist resorts, some of the buses will even pick tourists up from hotels.

The bird shows within the park are really something that tourists should experience. These shows normally include vultures, falcons and also eagles to name a few. The staff in the park aim to give very informative talks whilst the birds are flying around and demonstrating what they are able to do. These bird shows are very good for children as they will get the opportunity to give the bird some seed and the birds are invited to walk around the audience eating food out of their hands. The eagle park which is part of this jungle park is home to some very amazing animals which includes spider monkeys, parrots, White Siberian tigers and crocodiles to name few.

One of the things that make this park very good for people of all ages is that the visitors are able to interact with the animals. It is possible to walk through the monkey enclosure and it is possible for the visitors to feed the monkey some nuts and they will climb on the persons shoulder. It is great fun to watch the spider monkeys climb all over you and this is something that people of all ages will enjoy.
