Do you love festivals, but hate rain, mud and threatening, cloudy skies? Me too! Why not drop everything and head to the "Spirit of Burgas"? Over 100 live acts performing on seven stages ..... ON THE BEACH! What's not to love??

Now in its 3rd year Spirit continues to grow and is consistantly rated as one the greatest events on the summer festival circuit. Burgas is on the Black sea coast of Bulgaria and really knows how to throw a party!

Weather forecasts for the weekend promise 32-35C, and even the sea temperature is nudging 30C, so there is no need to pack umbrella or wellies; shorts, shades and a party attitude are all you need for a weekend to remember.

Tickets are available at the gate or online in advance. Camping facilities are provided on the beach site itself or, if tents are not your style, Burgas has a great choice of hotel accommodation to suit all budgets.

The party gets started with a bang on Friday 13th (superstitious? Not me !) with headliners The Prodigy supported by Gravity Co. and Apollo 440, and after midnight come DJ Andy C and MC GQ and local stars Acidtrip, Konspirator and Mocks.

Saturday is headlined by Unkle preceded by Everlast and local band Ostava and the party continues through Sunday when it is the turn of the Gorillaz Sound System (DVJ). D2, Serj Tankian, Grandmaster Flash, and Noukat DJ Set to keep you dancing. All of these acts are on the main stage alone, so with the other six stages you will surely find something to suit your mood, 24/7, for a never to be forgotten three day party.

The stages are the Main stage, Rock, THMO, Go Dutch!, ZionLionz Reggae stage, Jazz blues and Performer's Arena.
