Burgas is a great place to be especially in winters because winters are mild and there is constant breeze to make you feel refreshed at all times. Burgas also happens to be the largest seaport in the whole of Bulgaria. Burgas can be reached by air as there are daily flights to Burgas from a number of European as well as other airports. The city of Burgas was made a duty-free zone in 1989 and the reason was simply that the state wanted to promote tourism and trade. It consists of total population of about 230,000 and has become one of the most famous destinations for tourists.

There is plenty of activity to interest the tourist visiting Cyprus at this time of year. The first thing travellers to Larnaca will notice will be the improved airport facilities that were opened to the public on 10th November.
