Sarigerme Public Beach in Dalaman

Dalaman has numerous places to visit such as Dalyan mud baths, ancient tombs and a number of other interesting areas of geographic and historical significance. Dalaman is a region of natural beauty. It is situated among the mountains and sea and is quickly becoming a destination of tourists rather than a stop over en route. It has one of the best public beaches named Sarigerme public beach. Dalaman has an airport and Sarigerme public beach is about 25 km from the airport. You can simply catch flights to Dalaman followed by a local transport to reach your hotel and Sarigerme public beach.

Sarigerme public beach is a beautiful place that consists of a long stretch of white sand and excellent hotels to relax after a great day at the beach. The beach truly has a natural beauty because it looks as if it has been untouched for years. As you walk along, you are likely to find numerous storks which makes for a refreshing scene. Dalyan is a nearby town, popular for its Loggerhead Turtles also called Caretta Caretta. There are several freshwater turtles too which can be found around the rivers, lakes and canals.

Holidays at Sarigerme public beach take you into a natural world which you usually miss in a commercial or metropolitan city. There are several good beach resorts around the beach which are accompanied by several traditional shops and eateries. It can be your ideal sun and sand vacation. The Sarigerme public beach consists of a fantastic choice of water sports that you can indulge in. Within your resort after a long day, you can simply relax by a freshwater pool.

Public beach is extremely clean and the sand here has been found to be much lighter giving you a soothing feeling as you walk over it. Walking on the beach is a great way of going through the beach but if you dont wish to walk, there is a tractor trailer too which will take you around the beach free of cost. It functions every half an hour taking family and children all over the beach.

The Public beach is well maintained and has many facilities such as showers, sandy bars and a small cafe. Entry to the beach requires you to pay a small fee kept by the Sarigerme Environmental Education Association. Lifeguard and lifesaving equipment and services are also available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
