Sioux City in Gran Canaria
This area is very popular with tourists that make the most of the regular cheap flights to Gran Canaria. This is one of the most popular days out for tourists when they are in Gran Canaria. This attraction was originally built as a film set during 1972, however after its originally use it was transformed into a theme park. This theme park was complete with Indians, cowboys, a sheriff and Mexicans.
This theme park offers Wild West shows all through the days and these take place all year round. The various different shows include bank robberies, cattle stampedes, saloon fights, rodeos and also gunfights. Between the various shows the visitors can enjoy a barbecue or they may choose to sample the culinary delights of the parks three star saloon. Every Friday the park offers a barbecue evening where visitors can come and enjoy the food whilst also enjoying some country dancing.
This park aims to offer visitors the opportunity to recreate the gunfights and saloon gals that would be expected in the Wild West. This is a very popular attraction as it allows people to have fun and also learn about the Wild West. Whilst visiting this attraction people can travel back in time and explore the mystical world of the warriors such as cowboys and Wyatt Erap. This park covers an area of three hundred and twenty thousand square meters and it features a number of replicas including a church, a bank, typical houses and also a saloon.
This is just one of the many attractions within Gran Canaria as there is a lot of things for people to see and do within this area. Sioux city is open from Tuesday through to Sunday and it is open from ten in the morning through to five in the evening. This attraction is very good for all ages as there is something to suit everyone.
