Every October, the town centre of Faro is dedicated to Saint Irene (or, as the Portuguese call her, Santa Iria). From 19t until 29th of October, Largo de Sao Francisco will be bristling with activity, fragrant food stalls, colourful displays, art exhibitions and entertainment for all generations.
