Antalya is famous for its long summer, coastal attractions, mountainous scenery and natural beauty. Its beaches are unique for their long sandy stretches, rocky nature, and sparkling water. The many fortunes of Antalya also include its ancient historical landmarks, monuments and ruins. There is the Antalya archaeological museum with 13 display halls, housing amazing ancient collections and art exhibitions. You could visit the magnificent castle in Mamure, the monument in Ataturk, the ruins in Finike and the Karain cave which is the largest in Turkey. Various festivals take place in Antalya throughout the year. Summer festivals include the Opera and Ballet Festival. Every year, this huge event attracts thousands of spectators to Antalya.
