Tom Jones Performs Concert in Malta

When we report on big music concerts in some of the resorts we fly to, it's often the older stars that are performing. Earlier this year Rod Stewart performed in Tenerife and Alice Cooper played a concert this summer in Cyprus.
But it's not always the stars of yesteryear that take to the stage in the holiday hot spots. Last summer James Blunt performed in Cyprus during June. Ibiza is already famous as a location that attracts the world's top DJs and pop star Lady GaGa played in there during July this year.
In Malta on 15th November Tom Jones played his final concert of 2009 at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta' Qali. Tickets were priced starting at 35 Euros for standing areas with seat prices ranging between 50 and 100 Euros. The concert started at 8:30 pm.
Thomas Jones Woodward signed his first recording contract in 1964 and had his first number one hit in the UK charts the following year. Now, 44 years later, the sixy nine year old singer is still playing to packed venues all over the world. In the run up to his Malta concert, Tom Jones is also performing in Prague, Budapest and Belgrade.
Flythomascook.com offers flights to Malta several times per week during the winter.
