Ancient archaeological sites can be found in Minoan. In this settlement, you will see monumental buildings known as 'palaces', such as Knossos, Phaistos and Kato Zakros. Each of these palaces has its own unique characteristics. the settlement of Thera has magnificent remains from the Roman, Byzantine and Hellenistic period.
