One of the most popular tourist attractions on the island of Corfu is Mouse Island. Mouse Island is actually a tiny island that is tucked away in the southern part of Corfu. The island is right in front of the airport and there are regular flights to Corfu, which use this airport. The island is also in front of the Halkiopulos lagoon. Mouse Island is covered with lush Mediterranean vegetation, which is a rich green colour. Mouse Island is well known for the ancient church and monastery of Pantokrator that dates back to the eleventh century.

Las Palmas is a well known tourist destination that not only welcomes visitors with a warm weather but also warm people. Las Palmas has an airport that is 11 miles from the city of Las Palmas. Flights to Las Palmas can be boarded from anywhere in Europe. Frequency of flights may be slightly lesser in other countries. Apart from the churches and other attractions the presence of Mary Magdelene can be felt through the Hermitage of Magdelena located within Las Palmas. The area is maintained by the Municipality Castellon de la Plana and the total land area is 14.05 hectares. It is the natural setting here that impresses the visitors the most.

ijilo Forest Park is located at Gambia in Banjul. It is an excellent place to be during vacation especially when traveling with children and family. Banjul can be reached by air as there are several flights to Banjul even from international locations. For people interested in exploring wildlife, Bijilo forest park will be quite a destination to spend a day. It is a rainforest reserve situated atop a cliff right on the beach at Kolol. It is at a place called the Senegambia strip 11 km away from Banjul. It is an excellent place for birdwatchers and eco tourists. You can choose to stay at Senegambia or Kairaba so that the forest reserve will be a 10 minute walk from your place of stay.
