A brief overview
Arebjornen is a peaceful centre set amid snowy forests, a
10-15min bus ride from Are village. Its ski area is lift-connected to the main
Are ski area (approx 45mins skiing time) and a free ski bus which runs
regularly between 9am and 8pm connects to Are village. It is a winter
wonderland for families with every aspect of the village and ski area designed
with parents and children in mind. The network of wide, gentle slopes are never
more than a stone's throw away from the attractive wooden cabins and
apartments. The ski area itself has dedicated children's lifts, several warming
huts and a teddy 'bear' ski trail through the forest, while resort facilities
include a supermarket, ski hire shop, restaurant and pub, all located at the
base of the ski area in a central service building. This safe, quiet
environment is the perfect place to introduce children of all ages to skiing
and snowboarding.
