A brief overview
Lying at the bottom of Mont Blanc, Courmayeur is the oldest resort
in the Italian Alps, and its winter heritage makes it a favourite destination
for skiers across Europe, year after year. The old town is a warren of ancient
buildings and cobbled streets with a lively cosmopolitan atmosphere. The skiing
is an eclectic mix of blues, reds and a few blacks, both above and below the
tree-line, and with 80% of the resorts slopes covered by snow cannons, you can
rely on Courmayeur as a snowsure destination. Our accommodation is split
between the main town of Courmayeur and the satellite village of Dolonne, 2km
away. Both locations are serviced by a regular ski bus included in your lift
pass.
