A brief overview
A charming village, buzzing nightlife and sensational skiing;
Soll is a favourite with British skiers. Set at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser
mountains, the ski area has a fantastic range of slopes for all abilities and
is linked into the 250km 'Ski Welt' circuit for unlimited skiing and boarding
opportunities. The beginners' nursery slopes are close to the town and
intermediates will enjoy cruising the huge number of blue and red runs. Experts
may find the local runs a little flattering but the enormity of the Ski Welt
offers plenty of mileage and variety. The pretty village is clustered around a
landmark 'onion domed' church and its cobbled main street is lined with
numerous cosy cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. A modern sports centre
offering indoor and outdoor heated pools, and a choice of activities and
excursions provides enough to keep any non-skiers busy.
